Chapter Meeting on September 1, 2009
The next meeting of the recently formed NW Chapter of the ACLU of CT will take place on Tuesday, September 1, at 7:15 pm in the Tack Room of the Litchfield Inn located at 432 Bantam Rd (Route 202) in Litchfield, CT. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Agenda items include the upcoming Banned Book Week and Constitution Day school presentations.

ACLU Sues TSA For Airport Search Of Man Flying With $4,700
The American Civil Liberties Union has sued the Transportation Security Administration on behalf of a traveler who was hassled by security agents at Lambert-St. Louis's International Airport after he repeatedly asked if the law required him to answer their questions about $4,700 in cash he was transporting.
